2019 Top 9: The Products You (and I) Loved Most

Today I’m rounding up the top selling, most clicked, favorite products from 2019 and there’s no surprises (for me) in this list. Chances are you’ve probably heard me talk about or have seen me wear most if not all of these things. Some I’ve had for years, a few are newer discoveries that I don’t know how I ever lived without (ahem- manuka honey cleansing balm). Here’s the top 9 from 2019. Anyone else ready for a warm weather getaway looking at the sunny Florida photo above?!

Number one. everlane authentic stretch high-rise skinny

At the top of my list of “things I can’t wait to wear again post pregnancy” is denim, especially my favorite jeans from Everlane, the button fly stretch high rise skinny. They are SO flattering, comfortable and affordable. They fit tts and I get the ankle length because I like my jeans to hit at/above the ankle. The vintage mid blue wash has a raw hem which I’m always a fan of too.

number two. H&M Faux Shearling Jacket

This cozy faux shearling jacket from H&M’s conscious collection (made of recycled polyester) is super warm. I featured it in my fall capsule wardrobe and it was a huge hit. I got one for my Mom too and she loves it. Sizing rungs big.

number three. anthropologie faux fur throw blanket

I know a lot of you have the Anthro faux fur blanket by now because I’ve shared it a million times (and you’ve sent me photos of your pets curled up in it). I don’t know why it says dry clean only (I’ve even raised this with the Anthro team a few times) because I wash and dry it regularly with no issues. They’re super cozy, soft and indestructible. It’s also now Oeko-Tek certified.

NUMBER FOUR. AGOLDE DEE ULTRA HIGH RISE DENIM SHORTS

These denim shorts are basically the most flattering, comfortable, well made jean shorts I’ve ever owned. I’m going on three seasons and they’re just as perfect now as they were when I first got them. I included them in my summer capsule wardrobe because I basically wear them everyday. AGOLDE is also focused on sustainability from their manufacturing practices to the quality of their garments that are made to last. This style fits tts and while it’s non-stretch denim they do have some give and form to your body getting more comfortable with every wear.

number five. naturopathica manuka honey cleansing balm

This was hands down my favorite skincare discovery from this year. It was a recommendation from Tara when I met with her at the Boston Follain last spring to swap some products I was using that weren’t clean. Anytime my skin was irritated or I had a hormonal breakout, I’d use the manuka honey cleansing balm for a few days and it would totally heal my skin. It was so good during my first and second trimester when my skin was an absolute mess. I use it a few times a week and sometimes I’ll leave it on for 5-10 minutes as a mask. I apply it to dry skin and then rinse off with warm water (some people prefer to use a washcloth but I don’t find I need it). Use code JESSANNKIRBY for 15% off at Follain.

number six. brixton joanna straw hat

I’ve had this straw hat for years and I never get sick of it. The brim is just the right size, it actually fits my weirdly small head (I have it in xs) and it lasts forever! It’s also really easy to pack in your suitcase for travel, just stuff the inside, put it at the bottom of your luggage and then pack tightly around it. It’s also so affordable for a nice straw hat and looks just as expensive as similar styles from other brands that are $200+.

NUMBER SEVEN. THE WASHABLE SILK RELAXED SHIRT

Drapey, soft, flattering and washable, what more can you ask for in a silk shirt? This button down from Everlane is slightly oversized so I recommend going with your regular size or going a size down (I have it in a size 0). I included this in my fall capsule wardrobe because it’s such a great closet staple that you can wear so many ways.

number eight. isle of paradise self tanning drops

This cruelty-free, vegan, organic self-tanner is so easy to use and natural looking. I combine a few drops with a body oil or moisturizer and apply to my arms and legs after exfoliating. It’s great for maintaining a spray tan or giving yourself a glow anytime of year. I’ve tried the light and medium and find the medium typically works better, but if I’m really pale I’ll go with the light. It’s one of the only self-tanners I’ve ever used that I can apply without having streaks and the smell isn’t wildly offensive.

number nine. able rojas tall boots

Able is an ethical fashion brand I discovered this fall and I’m a huge fan. The Rojas tall boots are definitely a favorite. The color is beautiful, they’re well made and they’re super comfortable, so it’s no surprise they were a favorite for many of you too. I have them in the tobacco suede and they fit true to size.
