Mon Vert Cafe is a favorite amongst both locals and visitors in Woodstock. The best place to grab coffee and pastries to go or sit down for a yummy breakfast or lunch. Try the burrito or challa french toast for breakfast or the BLT or cobb salad for lunch. Open Friday-Wednesday 7:30am-5pm.
Santé
Enjoy locally sourced small bites and entrees at Sante for lunch and dinner. The delicious margaritas make a great girls night out pairing. Check their website for hours as they change seasonally.

Au Comptoir is Woodstock’s quaint cocktail bar that makes a fun destination for friends while in town. Sip on one of the deliciously crafted signature cocktails while enjoying conversation with your girlfriends. They have a small menu of light bites, a great place to start or end your night out!
Ransom Tavern
Don’t miss dinner at Ransom Tavern. Make a reservation ahead of time as they tend to be fully booked on weekends. This cozy restaurant in South Woodstock is set inside the beautiful Kedron Valley Inn. The menu has delicious appetizers, wood-fired pizzas with local ingredients, and a great cocktail list. It’s a spot you don’t want to miss!
Where to Shop
The Woodstock village has a variety of shops to peruse and enjoy. Head to F.H. Gillingham and Sons for all your souvenir needs. Woody’s Mercantile, Echo Market, Clover Gifts, Yankee Bookshop, and Elevation are all great girls day shopping destinations. What to Do
Go to the Spa
Woodstock is one of the best towns in Vermont for weekend getaways because there is so much to see and do! In fact, even if you don’t stay at the Woodstock Inn you can still make appointments and enjoy the spa amenities. Enjoy massages, facials, pedicures and manicures at The Spa. Sit back, relax and enjoy the lounge areas, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Make sure to book appointments well in advance!

Ski or Snowboard at Saskadena Six
Saskadena Six is the perfect small mountain with good vibes and fun trails. It’s only 10 minutes from the village with easy parking and a cozy lodge. Hit the trails and then enjoy apres outside by the fire pits or indoors by the massive fireplace.
Take a Yoga class
Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating yoga class with friends. My favorite instructor is Kelley Boymer. She offers a variety of yoga classes at various locations in town (and at the Athletic Club). She also offers private classes if you’d like to schedule one with your girlfriend group.

Go for a Hike

Swim or Paddle in the Summer
Silver Lake in Barnard, VT is just a short drive from Woodstock. Bring your paddle boards for a leisurely trip around the lake or go for a swim in the refreshingly clear water. In addition, you grab lunch at the Barnard General Store while you’re there!
