One of my latest and greatest clean beauty discoveries is Tarte Sea Surfer Curl Mascara (you may remember it from this post). It’s sweatproof, non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free and comes in recyclable packaging. It’s also works really well. It lasts ALL day, which can be really hard to find in a mascara. It doesn’t rub off, start to flake or smudge by the end of the day. Two coats makes my lashes look super long and voluminous and as you can see below, makes my eyes look bigger too.

For a really pretty, natural looking big and bright eye makeup look I use a few Tarte products and it’s super easy. I lined my inner lower lid and corners of my eyes with Fake Awake (picture below) and then used the smudge side to blend. I also did a light streak right along the bottom of my brow and then blend. I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay Palette on my lids; shade Drive on my lower lid and shade Hype in the crease to my brow bone. I defined my brows with Clay Waterproof Brow Pencil in Medium Brown and then smudged with a q-tip to blend. Then finished the look with the Sea Surfer Curl Mascara. Even for the mornings I just put on sunscreen, I throw on a few swipes of Surfer Curl Mascara and some lip gloss and call it day!
