Somehow it’s already the last weekend in August and I have a lot of emotions swirling around about that. Marin starts daycare Monday which I’ve anticipated in great detail for weeks, and we are spending our first September in Vermont. I’m excited and grateful, especially that people here take Covid seriously, and generally really care about one another and the community. The kindness here never ceases to amaze me. And that’s what I’ve been focusing on a lot lately, random acts of kindness that I can do, and also that I’ve witnessed over the last few weeks. I’m still blown away by all of your support for the teacher wish lists, which had an impact on so many teachers (and as a result students). In times when what’s happening in the world is heavy and heartbreaking, it’s such a gift to see people doing nice things for one another. Thank you for that.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…
