My number one priority is always comfort, whether I’m hosting a party, heading out to a cocktail party or staying cozy at home. It’s all about showcasing your personal style while staying comfortable.
Whatever your plans are for the holiday season this year, here are plenty of holiday outfit ideas to get you inspired and help you feel stylish and comfy.
10 Holiday Outfit Ideas
Wide Leg Jeans, button down and camel sweater
I really love these wide leg jeans from Sezane. They’re a great combo of straight/wide leg and look chic worn with heeled booties or cuffed and styled with lined clogs or boots. Pair wide leg jeans with a chic blouse and layer under a camel sweater. It looks extra chic with a navy wool coat. For a casual holiday party this is a great look and you can add a statement piece like a cute holiday hair accessory.
all white outfit with pops of color
Winter whites are so chic. These ABLE pants are my favorite because they’re so comfy and have a great silhouette for wearing them with winter boots. The straight leg goes great with a chunkier boot and you can layer up with a white sweater and white coat. Add a pop of color with a beanie or scarf.
lined clogs with cuffed jeans and chunky sweater
Lined clogs are so cozy for winter and especially for the holidays. They’re great for the holidays at home and look so chic paired with cuffed jeans and a cozy sweater.
monochrome outfit with skirt and sweater
There’s just something about an all red outfit that’s so festive and chic for a holiday outfit. Pair a red sweater with a red skirt or layer it over a dress. Green is a fun holiday color too and you can definitely go with different shades of the same color.
sequin top with trousers
This sequin blouse from Sézane is so fun and festive for the holidays. I love sequins for Christmas or NYE party outfit. Depending on the dress code it can be totally office appropriate too. The pleated trousers pick up the green in the sequin top so the pairing is super chic. You could also go with a wool trouser or wide leg jeans.
silk slip dress with turtleneck
The Pepper midi slip dress from ABLE looks great layered with a bodysuit or turtleneck. Pair it with tights and booties to stay warm. You could also layer it with a cardigan for an extra cozy factor.
floor length gown
If you’re headed to a fancy cocktail or black tie event opt for a floor length gown. The one above is an old style from BHLDN that I wore to a black tie wedding on NYE a few years ago. This one from Boden is similar and looks really comfortable. Sequins, tulle, velvet and lace are all fun for a holiday wedding.
velvet dress
Velvet is a great option for a winter and holiday party dress. It’s soft, cozy and looks so stylish. Wear a velvet slip dress or short shift with tights and booties or for a formal event try a floor length velvet gown. A long sleeve midi dress is chic and warm, great for those work parties.
sequined dress
Go for that extra sparkle with a sequined dress. A chic mini would be fun for NYE or a shift style would be fun for a fancier Christmas party. For something cozy and festive you could layer a sweater over a sequin dress. I love this metallic maxi dress from Boden too for the holiday season.
sweater dress with booties
Is there anything cozier than a sweater dress? This style from Christy Dawn looks so comfortable and warm. I would live in this all winter! Paired with boots or booties it would be perfect for a holiday gathering.
