This calming cool blue color, similar to the clear waters of the Bahamas and the 2016 color of the year Pantone serenity, had me swooning the minute I saw it.

There are so many amazing nautical inspired pieces from Old Navy for spring, from stripes to gingham, crisp blues and linen fabrics  the casual seaside vibe is perfection. When I found this gorgeous blue tunic and matching linen cuff shorts I knew they’d be perfect for my vacation.

The drapey cut of the top and flowy fit of the shorts has an effortlessly cool vibe that’s comfortable and chic. I wore these comfy flat sandals for day and switched into a low heel and added a denim jacket for dinner.

Another matching set I love is this gingham shorts and top combo. Both can be worn together or separate for a nautical preppy spring look.

A few other favorites from their Modern Riviera collection, this linen skirtthis stripe boat neck tee, and this embroidered top. For the cooler weather back home, I’ll definitely be wearing this blue tunic with skinny jeans and booties.

Until then I’m soaking up the Bahamian sun in these comfy separates. Just makes me wish for summer to get here even more.
