It’s launch day, and my Fall collection with ABLE is here. I decided to do a small and limited collection of pieces this year, with two sweater styles and one blouse. My goal was to create pieces that are super wearable, comfortable and versatile. We fit tested these on various body types and they are available in sizes XXS-3X. Of course as many of you already know, I am deeply passionate about ABLE’s mission to empower women through better opportunities in the fashion industry. I am proud of the work they do both at their HQ in Nashville and with their values-aligned manufacturing partners around the world.
My promo code for the collection is JAK15 which will get you 15% off your purchase. This collection is limited run and we aren’t restocking any styles so once they’ve sold out, they’re gone. I’ve shared more about the design, fit and styles below.
On another note: I’ve raised this on Instagram but it was a difficult decision of whether or not I would move ahead with the launch given what’s happening in Israel right now. I often question how to show up and what my role is during times like this (and quite frankly all the time). Expectations are high (as they should be) because I am not one to stay quiet. I am also a big feeler, and easily get consumed by my emotions, especially because of the nature of the news cycle and social media. It’s challenging to navigate work when it feels trivial. I am also grateful for the compassion and understanding I’m met with when I share how and what I’m feeling.
I say all of that to say, I am heartbroken for the loss of Jewish life and the murder of innocent people. I also grieve the loss of Palestinian life under Hamas rule, a terrorist organization. I will be donating a portion of proceeds from this collection to Magen David Adom and to Medical Aid for Palestinians. Despite what I say and how I say it, I realize my words and intentions are interpreted differently depending on everyone’s individual perceptions. I am accepting of that. All I can say is my intentions are in good faith, and rooted in my desire for peace and freedom for all.
My appreciation for your support, understanding and sense of community is deeper than I could ever possibly say in words. Thank you.
JAK X ABLE Fall Collection
The Liz Pullover
This Liz Pullover is 100% organic cotton and comes in two styles. An oat milk/black stripe and an alpine green. It’s a quarter zip with a slightly oversized fit. I’m wearing small here and it’s loose without being too baggy. It’s a shaker stitch with dropped sleeves and has a relaxed feel that still looks chic. Wear it with jeans or trousers, it’s one of those pieces you really don’t want to take off.

The Alexandria Tunic Sweater
Just the right amout of oversized, the Alexandria tunic sweater is so cozy. It’s also made with 100% organic cotton in a tunic length with ribbed collar and sleeves. I really wanted a longer sweater that can be worn with everything from skirts to leggings to jeans. This is also a very maternity friendly style as it’s very roomy. I gave one to Kelley (in her regular size) who is more than halfway through her pregnancy and she said it’s super cozy. It comes in two colors, alpine green and berry. Sizing is generous, and I recommend going with your true size for a slightly oversized fit.

The Ruth Button Down Blouse
The Ruth blouse is a versatile button down with a flowy fit perfect for everyday wear. It can be worn tucked in or left out, made from a breathable lightweight viscose. It has a double button front closure (no gaping!) and relaxed raglan style sleeves. It’s a nice style for layering under sweaters or a blazer in chilly weather. Sizing is true to size and it comes in sizes XXS-3X.
