Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Craig and I spent most of our time out on the water listening to the Newport Folk Fest and we had a fabulous lazy Sunday with lunch at a Thai restaurant and a mani/pedi for me. I know I said I wasn’t going to talk about fall yet, but I am starting to think about adding pieces to my wardrobe that will transition well into Autumn. I’m a big proponent of not editing your wardrobe by season (I’ll wear a fisherman sweater in the dead of winter or the middle of summer) but I guess that might be the New England girl in me. I’ve had quite some luck with Marshalls (I got this romper earlier in the summer) and I really like this gray jumpsuit not only because it’s so comfy it feels like I’m wearing pajamas, but it’s the perfect piece for fall. Paired with ankle booties and a jean jacket it’s an easy, comfortable outfit for cooler temps. And if jumpsuits aren’t your thing these pants are a nice alternative.
P.S. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is only on for one more week. Check out my favorite picks here.
