My Clean Beauty Picks from Sephora’s Spring Sale

Happy Friday(?). Feels weird writing that. This week was tough. The heaviness of what is happening sunk in and hit me hard this week. I know we are so lucky and I am beyond grateful for that. Just here to say if you’re struggling, I understand, some days are better than others. This is a marathon not a sprint, taking it day by day. To switch gears and talk about something a bit more lighthearted, the Sephora Spring Beauty event starts today. Here are the details:

  • VIB status, you can shop 4/21 – 4/29.
  • Beauty Insiders can shop 4/23 – 4/27.

Sephora Beauty Insiders will receive 10% off, VIB’s receive 15% off and Rouge members receive 20% off! Use code SPRINGSAVE.

My Clean Beauty At Sephora Sale Picks

Honestly I’ve been doing a lot more at home skincare lately. Any free time I have (which quite frankly is almost none between work and a newborn) I use to do some self-care which right now is pretty much skincare. These are my favorite clean beauty picks from Sephora for skincare and make-up, as well as some at-home tools for treatments at home.

Skincare

Farmacy Beauty Honeymoon Glow– My FAVORITE product from Farmacy Beauty. The best AHA serum I’ve tried even for sensitive skin. I use this a few times a week at night and my skin always looks so glowy, hydrated and refreshed the next morning.

Goop Glycolic Overnight Peel– Hands down the best at-home peel I’ve tried. I use this around once a week and my skin always looks amazing the next morning.

Supergoop Glowscreen Sunscreen – For a glowy, primer/sunscreen this is my go-to. Bonus it’s SPF 40 and it looks amazing on it’s own if you don’t feel like wearing makeup.

Biossance Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm – Love this super hydrating and plumping lip balm.

Ren AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum – My skin feels like absolute silk after using this body serum. I like to use it every other day, alternating with a regular moisturizer and self-tanning drops combo, works wonders.

Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner – Always, always go back to this toner from Indie Lee. I use it morning and night, it’s probably my favorite Indie Lee product.

Makeup

If I’m playing favorites, I love the Ilia super serum skin tint for foundation.

The Ilia mascara is another favorite.

Masks

Yerba Mate Resurfacing and Exfoliating Energy Facial – I just got this face mask from Youth to the People and my skin looked amazing after using it. Basically like at-home microdermabrasion. I have dry skin so wouldn’t use this more than once a week.

Watermelon Glow Sleep Mask – If you want a super hydrating mask look no further. I love this mask for overnight use. My skin soaks it up and looks super plump and glowy afterwards.

Farmacy Beauty Brightening Sheet Mask – If my skin needs a quick pick-me-up this is my go-to sheet mask. I leave this on for just a few minutes and my skin is noticeably brighter, hydrated and plump.

Self-Tanning

Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops – Despite my terrible application recently you may have seen on IG Stories, this is actually a really good self-tanner. In the winter I use light for a natural looking glow and in the summer I use medium. I mix the drops with a body oil or moisturizer and apply all over (except my face).

Drunk Elephant Bronzing Drops – For tanning my face I LOVE these bronzing drops. I mix one pump with my tinted serum foundation.

Hair

Olaplex – This is basically like an at home gloss/deep conditioning treatment. This is a salon quality product that will leave your hair super shiny, soft and silky. I try to use this once a week, but my hair is noticeably shinier and healthier every time I do.

Playa Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo – Love this weekly hair treatment for my dry, flaky scalp. It has a really nice lather and leaves my hair and scalp looking and feeling so healthy. I have fine hair too and it doesn’t weigh it down.

Klorane Dry Shampoo – Doesn’t leave any residue and gives my fine, straight hair nice volume.

Tools

NuFace Facial Toning Device – Check out my full review here. The NuFace is amazing for at home microcurrent therapy. With consistent use I definitely see improvement with fine lines and my skin looking more lifted and toned.

t3 Wand trio – I’ve had my t3 for years. The three attachments are great because I alternate depending on the length of my hair and the look of the wave/curl I’m going for.

With a new baby as well, I’m working on slowly switching to cleaner products as well–thank you for all your recs! I checked out your makeup post as well but didn’t see any recs for clean foundation or something with a bit more coverage? Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi Meg, that’s great! I would consider the Ilia Tinted Serum a foundation (I think it actually has foundation in the name). https://rstyle.me/+MCq4GRfJ3ZpVjyGWhj8pgQ I do also like their other foundation, I think it’s called True Skin Serum Foundation which has a little bit heavier coverage than the Tinted Serum. xx

I bought the Playa scalp scrub shampoo from Sephora after I saw you recommend it on Instagram Stories. It’s fantastic! Thank you for always sharing the best of the best!

That’s so great to hear! Thanks Erica.

Very excited to try the Isle of Paradise self tanning drops, thank you for the recommendation! On a different note – what do you do with all the empty cream and toner bottles or tubes? Do you know any skincare packaging recycle program?

    1. Jess

If it’s glass or plastic I pull off labels and recycle. A lot of skincare brands also have programs directly through Terracycle. They also have lots of free recycling programs you can sign up for.

I mostly prefer the beauty products which you recommend. And Yeah!! I love Sephora beauty products. I have ordered the skincare products which are on sale and tried them for my sensitive skin, which actually worked. Among them, I’m loving the Vitamin C Serum. Thanks for sharing the best products.
