I wrote this review of the Saie Slip Tint Tinted Moisturizer last spring and I wanted to update it with a few thoughts and comparison to other products. The Saie Slip Tint is that ideal balance of dewy, natural looking coverage and SPF protection. It’s hydrating and feels very lightweight on the skin. One of my favorite things about it is I notice that my t-zone never gets oily throughout the day when I wear it. It’s 100% mineral sunscreen which means great SPF protection. (Check out this video for how I apply it with my everyday makeup).
I often get questions about the difference between the Saie Sunvisor, Saie Slip Tint and Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. In that order would be from the least amount of coverage to the most. Saie Sunvisor is a sheer, dewy SPF product. It’s not going to cover any blemishes, sun damage, etc. Saie Slip Tint is a tinted moisturizer so it’s medium coverage with SPF protection. It will cover some things but not all. Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint is more like a foundation with medium-full coverage and SPF protection. You can’t go wrong with any of them it’s really personal preference.
The Slip Tint shade I’m wearing in this photo is Three: Light to Medium-Peach. Overall I LOVE this tinted moisturizer and it has become a staple in my beauty routine. For an even glowier, dewy look I wear it with Saie Glowy Supergel. I also layer Saie Sunvisor underneath for added SPF protection.
A quick note about bottle, in an effort to use less plastic the packaging doesn’t have a pump. The simple fix is to take off the cap, squeeze out any air and replace the cap.
Here’s a full list of products for this makeup look: Saie Sunvisor, Saie Glowy Supergel (Starglow), Kosas Cream Blush in 8th Muse, Saie Sun Melt Bronzer (Light Bronze), Sephora Collection Cream Eyeshadow Palette (Dragonfly), Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara, Kosas Brow Pop Eye Pencil, MERIT 1980 Brow Gel, MERIT Lip Oil (Bel Air), KOSAS Concealer (Shade 3.2)
