Something for Everyone: Brahmin Holiday Gift Guide

brahmin-holiday-gift-guide-jess-ann-kirbyIf you’ve been following this blog for a while then you’ve probably noticed a few of the brands I go to again and again. One that is near and dear to my heart is Brahmin. I loved the brand long before I first started working with them almost three years ago now and my appreciation has grown even deeper. Having visited their factory in Fairhaven (several times) gave me a better understanding of the care and attention to detail they put into their products. It takes over two dozen skilled artisans approximately 100 steps to make each handbag. At Brahmin the focus isn’t just on quality but it’s very much about function, for me that’s super important. I give Brahmin to people on my list every year, so Caylin and I picked our favorites from their latest arrivals. There is honestly something for everyone! Let us know what you’re loving.

A bit of luxury: Nothing looks or feels more luxurious than exotic leathers with a croc or snakeskin finish. Here are some of our picks for the classiest women in your life. The mini dotted faux fur pattern on the Suri Surrey wallet has us swooning. The colorful and detailed finishes on the Alice Carryall CarlisleDelaney Satchel WilmingtonMarney Pouch Tyndall and Priscilla Satchel Ellora will stand up to wear of everyday use while still pulling your outfit together—they go with absolutely everything. Same with the Fairhaven Thin Bangle Jewelry, layer it with other bracelets or buy a bunch and wear them together (there are several different color options).

Bohemian Favorites: Peace, love and beautiful things. These accessories feel laid back but the quality materials they’re made with still make them feel refined. You’ll have these classics forever.  The Suri Savannah looks chic paired with any purse. The attention to detail in the Fairhaven Duo Tassel Necklace Jewelry (love the tassels), the simplicity of the Gloria Charleston (you’ve probably seen it on Jess more than a few times), and the whip stitch on the edge of the Sonny Rockdale make these our hands-down favorite stand out pieces. Looking for a small stocking stuffer? The Journal Java is perfect for notes and you can buy paper refills when you run out of space.

Beautiful Basics: We were so excited to hear that Brahmin now offers monogramming. Add someone’s initials to a beautiful leather journal or the gold Brahmin medallion on classic tote like this one. Don’t forget the guys on your list. Gifts they can use everyday are the best ones to give. The Bifold Kensington wallet  and Samuel Brief Smithfield are our go-to picks. The Brayden Dusk Charleston  and the Sonny Charleston in Tan are also great classics for her. For all of your parties and gatherings, give a gift your hosts will love. The leather wine tote is always a huge hit, especially around the holidays.

Peruse the site and we promise you’ll find a little something for everyone, even yourself. And yeah we know it’s better to give but you’ve got to treat yourself once in awhile! Happy holiday shopping!
