It was almost a year ago today that I made the decision to leave my full time corporate job and pursue blogging and consulting full time. It was terrifying, exciting, emotional and ultimately the best decision I ever made. The last year has certainly not been easy, being your own boss is challenging and scary but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
One of the brands that’s been with me since the beginning is Brahmin. No matter how small or unknown I was, Brahmin has always been a huge supporter of Prosecco & Plaid, and for that I am forever grateful. This month, they kick off their “Lead On” campaign, honoring the modern woman, and embracing femininity, strength and accomplishment. To me, the modern woman knows who she is an doesn’t apologize for it. She’s confident and strong, willing to make a stand for what she believes in and not afraid to speak her mind. She’s hardworking and compassionate, takes pride in her work and knows that she can control her own destiny. What’s a modern woman to you?
