Tarotstrology: Scorpio Season Tarotscopes

Ch-ch-changes! Scorpio season pulls no punches when it comes to change. Suddenly the bright colors of fall are gone, the trees are bare, we’re losing sunlight and the temps are dropping. Not to mention, we’ve got a full moon on Halloween, Daylight Savings and a historic election jammed in there too. So while everything around us shifts, it’s a nice reminder that we too have the power to evolve, let go, move on, re-examine.

Scorpio Season Tarotscopes

Below you’ll find a mini reading for each sign that takes into account 3 cards for your Scorpio season (October 23 – November 22):

1. Death
2. The Major Arcana card your sign rules
3. An intuitive pull – just like in a reading with me – for each sign

In Tarot, Scorpio rules Death – the 13th card of the Major Arcana. This next month or so, we are being asked to confront the unknown, embrace the inevitability of change and allow ourselves to let go. While we can’t predict what comes next, we can learn how better to show up for ourselves through the process.

Scorpio — Death

Five of Cups

Letting go can bring up feelings of grief, Scorpio, even if you know that change is for the best. We are so adaptive, that sometimes it’s hard to remember that being afraid or tender in the face of upheaval is totally normal. Carve out a little space to sit with those feelings and honor them before closing one door to open another.

Scorpio rules Death, a card that teaches us about impermanence and rebirth.

Sagittarius — Temperance

Four of Swords

Remember to rest, Sagittarius. And before you show me your list of to-dos that is a mile long, please allow me to remind you that building momentum at an unsustainable pace only ends in one way – burnout and resentment. You know that moving at 100 mph isn’t the only way to make progress, so challenge yourself to prove it.

Sagittarius rules Temperance, a card that teaches us about co-creation and alchemy.

Capricorn — Devil

The Tower

Cut it loose, Capricorn, you are ready. At the risk of oversimplifying, if something isn’t working, let it go. This isn’t the time to negotiate, tiptoe or tolerate. In order for you to be fully expressed and aligned, you’ll need to make peace with a bit of upheaval and trust that the more you release, the more room there is for new growth.

Capricorn rules The Devil, a card that teaches us about addiction and liberation.

Aquarius — The Star

Seven of Pentacles RX

Be patient with yourself, Aquarius. You may be awaiting signs of life from seeds planted over the past 6 months, and I understand getting a bit restless, but your challenge this month is to observe that itch. How do you cope with discomfort? Where do you turn for distraction? What stories start to form when things deviate from your timeline? Stay present and gentle.

Aquarius rules The Star, a card that teaches us about healing and nonconformity.

Pisces — The Moon

Five of Wands RX

Surrender to the process, Pisces. It’s time to be very clear about what you do and do not have control over. Rather than engaging with every battle, now is the time to revisit (or get clear on) your priorities so you understand what is worth fighting for and what is worth letting go.

Pisces rules The Moon, a card that teaches us about our inner depths and wildness.

Aries — The Emperor

Queen of Wands RX

Focus is your superpower, Aries. Your attention is a potent tool, so if you notice yourself feeling like you’re not doing enough, you might actually be doing too much. See where you can simplify and streamline so that you’re pointing all of your magic in the same direction.

Aries rules The Emperor, a card that teaches us about power and personal sovereignty.

Taurus — The Hierophant

Six of Cups

This is a tender season for you, Taurus. There is some heart healing work on the horizon. Notice any topic or area of life where you feel defensive or cynical and investigate the fear that that toughness is protecting. By tending to the soft spots, we often uncover our own soft power.

Taurus rules The Hierophant, a card that teaches us about truths and spiritual insight.

Gemini — The Lovers

Three of Pentacles

Teamwork makes the dream work, Gemini! Do you still encounter the belief that you have to do it all alone? Not so much because you think your way is best, but because you don’t want to “burden” others? This is a time to not just embrace, but revel in the beauty of collaboration.

Gemini rules The Lovers, a card that teaches us about balance and harmony.

Cancer — The Chariot

The High Priestess RX

Build that trust muscle, Cancer. We all doubt ourselves from time to time, but this goes deeper. It’s time to kick any belief that you don’t know what’s best to the curb. Rekindle your relationship with yourself and your intuition this month and remember just how powerful you are.

Cancer rules The Chariot, a card that teaches us about alignment and forward momentum.

Leo — Strength

Three of Wands RX

Even when change is exciting, it can be unnerving, Leo. You may be comfortable where you are – hell, a few years ago, you may not have even thought you’d get here! But now, you’re starting to hear that whisper again – that it’s time for a new adventure, a new level. It’s okay to be both cautious and curious.

Leo rules Strength, a card that teaches us about resilience and vulnerability.

Virgo — The Hermit

Five of Swords

Don’t lose yourself in the fight, Virgo. That’s not to say that you should shy away from conflict entirely, but recognize when you have gotten swept away and find a way to come back to who you want to be, even in the trying moments. Stay connected to humanity over righteousness.

Virgo rules The Hermit, a card that teaches us about going within and pacing ourselves.

Libra — Justice

Two of Wands RX

There are well laid plans, and then there is reality, Libra. Rather than gripping to your roadmap as if your life depends on it, why not assess the next step in real time? Your vision can remain clear, even if the path to get there looks different than expected.

Libra rules Justice, a card that teaches us about equality and, well, justice.
