This post is in partnership with Sézane.
I’m gonna go ahead and say this might be my favorite Sézane collection ever. Classic silhouettes, plenty of stripes and neutrals, pastels, plaid coats and pretty blouses. I spent too much time perusing the lookbook before the collection launched this morning so I have a pretty good idea of my favorites for the season.
One thing I love about Sézane is how they keep styles and silhouettes and make them fresh in new prints and colors. It makes shopping so much easier because I know what I like and how pieces fit. You can also check out my Sézane shopping guide if you need any help figuring that out!
My goal for my wardrobe as I head into fall (and winter) is to streamline. I want ease, comfort, style, and versatility. I’ve been doing a lot of closet organizing and wardrobe refining the last few days and I’m focusing on adding pieces that I know I’ll wear a lot but also that work with the existing things in my wardrobe I love. Here’s what I’m loving from Sézane’s new fall collection.
Sézane Fall Collection Favorites
Sweaters
As I mentioned above, one of my favorite things about Sézane is how they will keep styles and silhouettes throughout the years. Most of my top picks from this knitwear collection are sweater styles I already have. There are some really great colors to choose from this season. And if you’re looking for sweater outfit ideas, here’s a bunch with some of the sweaters I’ve mentioned. A few favorites:
- The Betty Cardigan has some gorgeous colors for fall. The garnet and sage are my favorites for this season. This is a cropped style so go up a size for a slightly looser fit. I’m wearing a small in these photos but also have a large (see here) for a boxier fit.
- I got the Sami jumper this spring and I’ve worn it to death. I have it in natural but the stripe is such a great update for fall. The button detail on the sleeves is so chic.
- I wore the Louise jumper all winter last year. It’s warm so probably too hot for early fall but a great sweater once the temps get colder.
- The Amiel jumper is a new style and I love the relaxed, slightly oversized silhouette.
Coats and Jackets
Sézane brought back some great styles and added a few new ones that I’m very excited about. The Oscar jacket is so chic and looks like something that would be incredibly cozy. This updated version of the Will jacket in a cream wool has Vermont in the fall written all over it but the plaid is equally as cool and has a great equestrian vibe.
I have the Paolo coat from last winter and the updated camel color is great for fall. The pastel plaid on the Armand coat is a fun twist on plaid for fall and winter.
Blouses
A long sleeve corduroy shirt, yes please. This can be a top or a light jacket. I’d probably size up for a more relaxed fit but if you want to style is a more of a blouse go with your usual size or size down. My other pick is the Tomboy shirt in denim. The snap buttons, relaxed fit and longer length make it a super comfy style for fall.
Bottoms
I have the Le Crop jeans in denim but I’ve been waiting for corduroy pants and Sézane came through with the Le Crop style in corduroy! If you work in an office environment the Martin crop trousers are so chic.
Accessories and Shoes
I am a huge fan of scarves as accessories on bags and hair. A chic simple braid or pony with a scarf is still one of my favorite easy hairstyles. The Gaston scarf is so pretty for fall to tie on your bag or wear in your hair.
I got the Milo bag last winter and it’s a gorgeous classic leather bag. If you’re in the market for a new wallet, I love my Victoria wallet and I’ve also given it as a gift twice.
If you’re in the market for booties the Jules boots are so comfortable and the perfect heel height. I wore mine all fall and winter last year.
