Work pants can be a really tricky thing. I personally tend to feel much more comfortable in pants, but style and fit are so important when it comes to finding the right pair for work. I remember when the Express Editor pants first came out, I was in high school, and since we had a uniform they were basically the only pants I wore because they were cute and flattering. Try finding cute khaki pants, especially in the early 2000s, it was NOT easy. On a recent trip back to the store I found these suede pants and I immediately fell in love. Not only are they really comfortable and flattering but they look so cool. They have a very downtown NYC vibe, but still work in Newport. They’re effortlessly cool paired with this striped blouse. I also tried them on with this white sleeveless blazer over this tank which was really cute. I definitely recommend trying a cropped fit pant, Express has some really cute styles right now. Definitely make sure to wear them with something that flatters the ankle, like an ankle strap heel or pump to elongate your legs. Another always flattering style is high waisted wide leg pants, a great option for work or a night out with a fun top like this one.
