How was everyone’s week? It was a lot better than last week for me I can definitely say that much. My mom is here visiting for the first time since February right before Covid lockdown (she was able to quarantine and then get a rapid test). It has been so helpful having her here I’ve been able to get so much work done and also just feel like I have a minute to breathe. Craig is per usual making a ton of progress up in Vermont working on the bathrooms this week. I’ll share more progress early next week when I head up there again. Honestly I can’t believe it’s already mid-November this month is FLYING.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

Are you still vegan? You’ve been posting a lot of recipes with meat in them. I’m just curious because I went vegan around the same time as you guys!

Hi Ana, I am still vegan! Caylin and I write this post together and she is not vegan so she shares recipes with meat.

I have discovered the perfect Thanksgiving solution- order all the sides from a local catering place and the only thing we do is cook the turkey. Just re heat the rest.
