We spent the first few nights in our new master bedroom and honestly I feel like we’re staying at a hotel. It’s SO nice, I feel like I’m on vacation in my own house. There’s so many little things that feel like luxuries, a light switch next to the bed, my own sink in the bathroom, it just feels really good to enjoy the space after how much hard work Craig put into finishing it. I’m really excited to show it all to you guys over the next few weeks.

A few people have said to me recently “it’s your first Mother’s Day” to which I reply “I’ve been a mother for 10+ years.” I’m sort of joking but also, not really. Of course this year feels different and special, in ways that are hard to describe in words. We have some decorating and organizing plans for the weekend, and some fun puzzles I ordered (we’ll see just how fun they are after a few hours, haha). Wishing all of you a great weekend. xx Jess

There’s so much going on right now, but we absolutely shouldn’t be looking away from the one hundred environmental rules the current administration are on their way to rolling back. I think we can all agree that the planet deserves to be protected, yes?

This recipe for seared scallops with peas, asparagus, and frozen corn polenta is easy and fast but looks like you ordered in from your favorite local restaurant.

I shared some faves from Aerie yesterday on my IG but wanted to put them here too. This cropped sweatshirt is the softest thing EVER (got a Medium), these leggings are insanely comfortable and made from recycled materials (got xs they’re super stretchy) and this one piece is super flattering (also made from recycled materials)! Also this boyfriend tee is super cozy (got a small, it runs big).

Finally! What to ask instead of how are you during the pandemic.

Now that our wardrobes are installed I brought all my summer clothes up from the basement (side note: it’s 36 degrees out right now :/ ). I can’t wait to wear my favorite Madewell summer jeans again and my Rails button down.

The new series, Never Have I Ever (Netflix) is hilarious. A quick watch, the series was created by Mindy Kaling and is a great break from the darker, true crime stories you can stream. I loved it! (C)

My cousin said this hair and lint remover I shared a few weeks ago is her new quarantine addiction. I promise you, it’s so satisfying.

“The food media paid scant attention to the Indian-born chef and restaurant owner Garima Kothari when she was alive. That lack of coverage has extended to her tragic death.” Begging the question, who gets an obituary?

All the comfort food please!

This one skillet French onion tater tot casserole certainly fits the bill.

I’ve been testing some new products and love this serum. I can see why it’s a cult favorite, it has reduced my brown and sun spots after several weeks of consistent use. (J)

The tragic, Rhode Island love story about Hannah Robinson Tower.

I loved Becoming on Netflix. (J)
