Happy Friday. It’s a hot one here, as I am sure it is for many of you around the country (and world). Not sure if anyone else is feeling this way, but the constant barrage of climate disasters has been weighing on me heavily. I’ve been holding on to a lot of stress, and this week I tried something new, a practice called TRE, which is series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. It was kind of a game changer for me and I was shocked at how quickly I felt a sense of calming and relief. As someone who can struggle with talking about things that stress me out, it was a really incredible practice to calm my nervous system.

This summer is flying by and I can not believe it’s almost August. Trying to slow down a bit and savor these last few weeks. Wishing you all a great weekend.

Here’s the best of the week…
