How’s everybody doing this week? I know many of you lost power and some still don’t have it back in the Northeast so I’m really hoping it’s restored ASAP for those of you without it. We had a busy work week and I started working out again, finally, which honestly feels really good, I can’t believe I’m saying that. I never thought about how physical it is taking care of a baby, does that sound ridiculous? Carrying around a 20 lb baby was wreaking havoc on my back and neck, coupled with diastasis recti which wasn’t helping, I knew I needed to work on my strength. Now my whole body hurts, but it’s the good kind of sore, haha. Secretly hoping for a rainy day this weekend because I’d love to curl up on the couch and watch a movie. Any good new shows or movies you guys are loving?

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

I recently watched a movie called Tumbledown and while it wasn’t the best film I’ve ever seen, I loved the singer who provided songs for the soundtrack—Damien Jurado. (C)

If you’ve never tried fried green tomatoes you’re missing out! So here’s how to use your unripe tomatoes at dinner tonight.

What a smart idea! Looking for a mentor? You might already have one.

Love this green utility jacket from Outerknown for fall.

One of my favorite parts of my morning ritual is doing the NY Times mini crossword puzzle. It’s not that hard and it also gets my brain moving in the morning. (C)

These blistered stuffed cheese-y peppers are the summer side you didn’t know you needed.

I love this new papaya enzyme cleansing balm from Glow Recipe. It’s so good at getting makeup/sunscreen off without making skin feel dry and stripped. It’s like a cleanser and treatment in one. (J)

Khatu restocked more mask styles.

Her masks are my favorite, they fit really well and they’re reversible.

Julia connected me with her husband Anel after I posted about Diastasis Recti. I jumped on a video call and he gave me these exercises to do which have been so helpful. It was something my doctor never even discussed with me and I discovered through searching my symptoms but it’s quite common in postpartum women. (J)

This story is a gripping look into the controversial and (frankly) corrupt lifeguard corp in New York City.

The coronavirus isn’t going away.

With a backyard space this luxurious looking, who even needs to go inside? So many beautiful, accessible ideas.

The September issue of Vogue is a big deal, this cover for British Vogue is beautifully shot and features activists from around the world, plus it’s the first cover shot by a black male photographer for the magazine.

The authors of the book Big Friendship (we mentioned it here previously) talk about how to keep your friendships strong during quarantine.

I have a show for you Jess. “Cable Girls “ on Netflix. An Original series filmed in Madrid, I believe it’s done with excellent English dubbing, I’m loving it. It’s about 4 women in the 1920’s with great period styling who are struggling for women’s independence. It’s a great story on all levels to watch. I’m binging it for days well into the night. It’s so good! Also I told Caylin to watch the first great season of “A History Of Witches ” , Sexy Vampires, love and great Mystery! So well done. Have Fun! xo

Jess, what size do you get in the Khatu face masks? All the others I’ve bought are one size fits all so I’m not sure what size will work best from her shop!

I got small but I think she has measurements so I recommend measuring to be sure.

The picture of Beyoncé for Vogue by Tyler Mitchell is one of my all time favorite covers.
Just one more reason to love Beyoncé. Reading her raw words after pregnancy and body image and challenges after pregnancy resonated with me in a profound way.
