I almost NEVER wear leggings. Unless I’m exercising which is not as often as it should be they just kind of freak me out as an option for pants. So a few weeks ago I ordered these ponte leggings from Talbots, and to my surprise they are actually quite a nice alternative. They’re quite thick so they look closer to a slim trouser than leggings. The elastic waistband is comfortable and the length hits at the perfect spot right above the ankle (FYI I ordered petite). I wore them with this longer grid print sweater and houndstooth coat which are a nice length for wearing with leggings. For a casual weekend outfit or maybe even workwear (depending on your office dress code) these are certainly an option worth considering!
