Something I’d love to see (and something I think you would do so well at!) is a weekly feature of showing a specific item worn three different ways. (i.e., one sweater 3 ways, one jacket 3 ways) I’ve seen this kind of thing done but I think having it be a weekly thing would be great.

    1. Drew

I totally agree! I actually end up buying a lot of the stuff that’s shown on the blog so I’d love to see the multiple ways you can wear the items

    2. Ash

I’d also love to see this. Great idea and I think your style shown 3 different ways would be awesome content

    3. Jessica

Thank you for this Adrienne, Ash and Drew! Awesome idea and definitely something I plan to incorporate regularly in my content moving forward. xx Jess

  2. Samantha Webster

I would love to see more posts on building a wardrobe like you did with the summer looks post (great tshirts and jeans to invest in). Love the home decor posts and would love to see more about furniture and slowly decorating a house. We are renovating too!

    1. Jessica

Love this idea Samantha. Adding this to my list of post ideas. And definitely plan on sharing more about our home decor and how we went about decorating in 2018! xx Jess

  3. LP

I think you’re great on video and love your beauty posts, but I think those all come across best on Instagram! It seems like you get big engagement on stories and that people ask tons of questions about products when you post them on Insta. Just my two cents!

    1. Jessica

I definitely do have great engagement on Instagram, particularly stories, so happy to continue to share lots of things there. Thanks for your input! xx

  4. Lisa

I really enjoy your blog and find a majority of the content relevant and interesting. I would love to see a post on the best “beginners” camera options. I plan on investing in a DSLR camera this year and I feel like it’s a bit overwhelming once you start reading the reviews. Aside from that, I just enjoy how “real” your content is. I think that is the key to your success (in my humble opinion)! I look forward to seeing what you do in 2018! Happy New Year Jess!

    1. Drew

I would love to see a camera post too!! I was looking to buy a camera but am a beginner as well

      1. Jessica

I am working on a post talking about the equipment we use and the cameras we’ve used in the past (and recommend) at all price points. Thank you both for your feedback and input! xx

  5. Gina

I really like your blog strategy for 2018. Really looking forward to Wellness, New England Travel, Career Info and Fashion!

    1. Jessica

Thanks Gina! Appreciate your input xx

  6. Emily

First, love your blog and the content you put out in 2017. For 2018, I would definitely be interested in more career pieces, especially balancing a career and blogging. As someone who is relatively new to blogging and still working a full-time job, I think this type of content would be helpful. Definitely love your food and beauty content as well. I think a monthly roundup of the products you use would be great for beauty and lots of quick and easy recipes would be awesome. Happy New Year! Xo

    1. Jessica

Thank you Emily! Definitely happy to share more career/blogging content. And I’m going to start doing monthly beauty product round-ups so thanks for that feedback. xx

  7. Kristiana Wajnblom

I love all of your content so I’m just excited to continue to read and learn from you, in all of these areas! PS- I’m obsessed with Nora and Fuji. Please never stop instastorying them. ??

    1. Jessica

Haha thank you Kristiana. If all else fails I will just post videos and photos of Nora and Fuji all day because that seems to be everyone’s favorite.

  8. Mary Sennott

I must say I already am a huge fan of your blog. I have tried getting into other blogs but I just never end up meshing with the content. I am a New Englander and the way you share Rhode Island is incredible. It not only interests myself since I am from the area and absolutely love Newport and surrounding towns, but it makes others so interested that have never really been before! I absolutely love your technique in sharing that lifestyle because it absolutely is unique and special-

After reading this blog post I think the most new genius idea is the home decor/teaching home renovations. Also there is never a day that I am not excited to look at outfit content; there is so much talent with style keep it coming! One suggestion I have that I personally am interested in would be to incorporate New England based skincare- I always knew about farmestetics but did not actually really become interested in the brand until after you shared some of their products. I think it would be interesting to learn more about local skincare since there are so many companies around New England that produce home made natural products. You guys rock keep up the amazing work and have a great new year!

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Mary! Appreciate all of the positive feedback. Definitely happy to share more local skincare brands as I discover them. I really want to focus on finding more clean beauty brands so that’s a priority this year. Thanks again for your input xx

Warning, this might be a long comment, but hopefully it’s helpful!

Career: I would so appreciate the career posts! I do have a hobby blog so blogging tips are great, but overall career info would be wonderful since I do work full-time in the corporate world and I’d be interested to hear your tips and experience. 5 years is nothing to balk at!

Decor and Wellness: Love love LOVE your decor posts and can NOT wait for the wellness challenge. I am ecstatic to hear that you will be doing a more holistic approach as opposed to just diet and exercise.

Recipes: I will admit I usually skip those and the reason is just that I don’t cook that much and also don’t drink much. Plus, since it’s not your main focus, I don’t know, it just seems less authentic (?) Not sure that’s the right word. But basically, when you talked about the ramen all the time and people were asking questions etc, that post I did read! Because I knew you loved it and were sharing it because people were asking and not just to beef up the “food” category.

Travel: You are pretty much my go-to when it comes to Newport and New England, so those guides will be super helpful!!! 100% trust your suggestions since I know you know the area so well.

Hair and Beauty: Love the idea of a monthly “what I tried” post. Would really appreciate your honest reviews of if you would or wouldn’t recommend the product. I know you get to try so many products through blogging so it would be really helpful for us to know what we should or shouldn’t go out and buy.

Podcast: Can’t wait for this since I love listening to podcasts on my way to work! Maybe you could call it “An Ocean State of Mind” since that goes along with your coastal inspired life tagline? And you could close each episode asking your guests what it means to them?

YouTube: Adore your YouTube videos because I think you’re hilarious. My favorites are the hauls because I like seeing the items on a real person and appreciate your feedback and descriptions of each item and how you would style it. I will admit that I don’t watch the vlogs and if videos are longer than 5-8 minutes, I generally skip. I just don’t have the time/patience for anything much longer than that.

Fashion: I love your fashion content and wouldn’t suggest any major changes. That said, I do love seeing how you re-style items, so maybe more “how to wear this two ways” type posts. So a sweater with a skirt and booties and then the same sweater with jeans and a scarf type thing. Could be dressed-up vs. dressed-down or just two different styles. I do know that takes more time since you’re essentially doing two posts in one but I would love those!

Okay, yep, this comment got a little out of hand and super long but I hope that is helpful. Can’t wait to see what you guys do in 2018! I just started following along this year and yours has quickly become one of my absolute favorite blogs!

    1. Mary-Katherine

Oh and one other that I forgot! *hands over eye emoji* It would rock if Craig would do some renovation/DIY posts! Like, I don’t know the first thing about that stuff, so if I were to buy a house (which we plan to do in the next few years) and I wanted to, say, tile the bathroom, I literally wouldn’t even know where to start. Do I need to get a permit for that? If so, where do I do that? How to I cut it around the toilet? Etc etc etc. Your house is incredible and not only is it cheaper to DIY, but it feels so much more special when you get to see your hard work every day, but like I said I know nothing and he seems like a genius when it comes to that stuff!

      1. Jessica

        Mary-Katherine,

Thank you SO much for taking the time for such a thoughtful response. Definitely can get more in depth with some of the home reno stuff and taking into account all of your other thoughts feedback. Working on some more YT hauls soon too! xx

  10. Chelsea

I just came across you’re blog the other night and I absolutely love it! I’m in love with the career/blogging section. Would be very interested in learning more about decor and wellness as well. For the New England travel, I would suggest you doing a post on “What you like most about Newport, RI/ favorite things or 10 reasons why you decided to move back”. I have always pictured myself living in the New England area and I love Newport but don’t know much about the area. Looking forward to future posts!

    1. Jessica

That’s such a great post idea Chelsea, definitely adding that to my list of future content. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate it. xx

  11. Jen Kessler

Hey Jess! I love your blog and I’m excited to keep following along in 2018.
Food: I am not a person who enjoys working in the kitchen so I probably don’t click over to read those but I still think the photography is beautiful and I definitely think if you love doing those, you should keep doing them. ?
YouTube: I love video content these days. I am one of those that love the vlogs and watch them although sometimes they are kind of long so I may not be able to watch right away. Maybe shorter would garner more views?
It sounds like I fall right in line with your stats, I’m not super interested in the posts that you say don’t get big views and I do really enjoy the posts that you say get a lot of views.
New England: there are so many popular blogs and IGs about that area BUT I would love to see your perspective. You seem different from those other accounts and it would be cool to see your New England. ?
Happy New Year Jess and Craig!

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Jen! Really appreciate your feedback. Working on some new videos to go live soon, agree they need to be a bit shorter. Happy New Year, excited for everything we have planned xx

  12. Melissa

I don’t have anything to add that hasn’t already been said, but just wanted to say THANK YOU for such great content. I love everything you do, especially instagram stories–which could definitely take the place of vlogging, but I enjoy the vlogs, too! Love the idea of more home decor/renovation tutorials, and I’m with everyone else on the how to wear one piece more ways. I find that it’s “hard to keep up” when you always have new clothes (it’s just not reality for me to shop ALL the time), so it would be cool to see some things that you love and go back to again and again. I guess that’s my only critique, but even if you didn’t change a thing, I would still read/watch everyday! Can’t wait for the podcast, either 🙂

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Melissa. Yes totally agree I am definitely planning on doing at least one post a month that focuses on one item and multiple ways to wear it. Honestly I always go back to the same pieces anyways so this will be fun! Really appreciate your feedback. xx

  13. Aimee

Have to say, you’re still just someone I never tire of! Your content is so wonderful and I just find you so funny! I’m definitely looking forward to everything you listed above but probably the most excited about the New England focused guides being a Boston girl. I’ll be jumping on your wellness challenge, would always love to hear about skincare products, and will be scouring your page for fashion inspiration. And I always look forward to your dogs! Also, just have to say thanks for putting in all the work it takes! Silly to say since it’s your job but it doesn’t go unnoticed!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Aimee. So glad you’re going to do the wellness challenge. I’m really excited about it. Really appreciate your feedback and taking the time to comment. xx

  14. Allison

Love your content! Started following you after Courtney shields posted your blogging article. Then fell in love with your personality and pups! Would love more wellness/lifestyle. Fashion obviously too (: thank you again for sharing!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Allison. Definitely making lifestyle and wellness a big focus for this year. So happy to have you along for the ride! xx

  15. Kayla LaMuth

Hey Jess! First off I just wanted to say that I absolutely love everything about Craig & yours life, I’m actually envious! I love your fashion and think it is similar to mine. I am huge on home decor/styling and absolutely LOVE your outdoor area at your house. The travel section really has me excited though! I am new to New England (currently living in Boston) and would love some great 24-48 hour weekend trip ideas! Girl keep doing what you’re doing, I love it & am a dedicated reader. Girl you SLAY!

    1. Jessica

Kayla you are so sweet! Thank you so much. I love Boston it’s such a fun city. I am really looking forward to sharing more travel content for New England, there is so much to do here. And definitely more home decor content, once we finally finish another friggin room! xx

  16. Lauren

Hi Jess! Love your blog! I enjoy your YouTube videos, I actually love your vlogs. I hope you continue to film some. I would love for you to do a Podcast. I drive a lot for my job, so l love listening to them in the car. I am not a vegan, I love all types of food, so the food blogs are not the ones I read. Keep up the great work!

    1. Jessica

Hi Lauren. Thank you so much, definitely planning on launching a podcast and actually really excited about it now. I am going to keep up with Youtube and probably sprinkle in some vlogs with some other content I have planned. Thanks so much for your feedback xx

  17. Marilyn

I would love to read more about the cameras you use and any advice for photography! And you are far more skilled at creating content on Youtube than the majority of people; I think you should continue to post vlogs. I’m sure they will start to get more views soon enough!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Marilyn! I have a post (a few actually) about photography planned for this month and next. Cameras, tips, etc. and I think we’re going to do a podcast about it as well. Thanks so much for your feedback. xx

  18. Danielle

I may be in the minority, but I absolutely love your vlogs! I hope you continue to do them in 2018.
I also really enjoy your food/drink posts, as well as the home decor and travel!
I’ve been looking to buy my first house for the past couple of months, so any renovation posts would be very helpful!!

    1. Jessica

Aw thanks Danielle! I’ll definitely be sprinkling them in here and there. Can definitely work on some reno posts too. Thank you so much for your feedback. xx

  19. Jill Pappas

What about some kind of book club or not a book club but a monthly kind of thing where you share books. I have read so many great books about things I wouldn’t ordinarily read from bloggers.

    1. Jessica

Love that idea Jill. I think what I’m going to do, since I have a goal of one book per month is just share the book I’m reading that month. I have so much on my plate I don’t think I can do more than that, haha. Really appreciate your feedback. xx

  20. Clare

First off, love your blog – I’ve been reading since the Prosecco and Plaid days! I think the thing I appreciate the most is how real and down to earth you keep it. We are around the same age, and have similar tastes and your go-to places to shop are also mine, but I love to see how you style things and put them together in ways I wouldn’t have thought of! It’s great how most items are affordable and there are the occasional splurges to aspire to! I think what other people have already mentioned would be a great idea – seeing items styled in different ways

I love your honest and hilarious perspective on things and would love to hear more career advice and I’m especially interested in the photography advice you mentioned above.

I’m really looking forward to more home renovation/decor advice. If you have any tips on painting and cutting in so it doesn’t look like a 5 year old painted the walls, that would be great! Also, any advice on refinishing kitchen cabinets or furniture?
Love your IG stories and admittedly, I don’t spend a lot of time on YouTube. Not sure why, just not a lot of time extra in the day I guess. I’d be more likely to check it out if you provide links in your blog to it when one is posted.
Excited about the wellness piece – can’t wait to see what that will be all about!
I think your content is great, love where you are going and looking forward to following along in 2018!

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Clare. Definitely going to incorporate more career focused content and have a post about photography and cameras coming soon! And I will share a lot more detailed info about our renovations and what we did/how we did it! xx

  21. Maria

I love the idea for a comprehensive New England travel guide (specifically since I’m moving to Providence, RI from Austin, Texas next year). I would love to see fashion around business casual – how can I look cute while being professional? I have such a hard time with that. I’ll be a teacher 🙂 I also love the other person’s idea of how to wear a single piece three different ways! Lastly, I have really enjoyed following you and your content, especially your stories with the pups. One of the only blogs I really engage with 🙂

    1. Jessica

Hi Maria. Thank you so, so much for the feedback. Really appreciate you taking the time. Totally agree on all your ideas and excited for you and your move to Providence. It’s a great city.

  22. Lynn

I agree with a previous reader who suggested posts on how to wear an item a few different ways being a great regular addition. I’d also love to see more of what you pack for a particular trip and how you style each item and maybe how you can wear it multiple ways. I’m always struggling to pack as lightly as possible and pack items I can use more than once so this would be helpful! I love food posts if they are quick, easy and healthy. Also having the option for a printer friendly way to print the recipe please =). Loving the home decor/reno posts, it’s great inspo! I’m also a beauty junkie, love the idea of doing a monthly round-up of products you’ve tried and reviewed. Oh, and of course more Nora and Fuji, they are too cute and I’m so glad they seem to just adore each other!! Happy New Year!! Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2018. Looking forward to what you have in store for the blog =)

    1. Jessica

Thank you Lynn! Definitely a great idea on the packing post. Honestly I struggle with packing light too, haha. But I can certainly share more about packing and good items to bring that can be versatile for travel. Thanks for all your support. xx

  23. Haleigh

I just have to say that I truly appreciate your authenticity and honesty. I absolutely love your Instagram and blog and got my girlfriends and sister to follow you as well. I grew up in Narragansett, RI and moved out to San Fransisco 3 years ago and you make me little bit homesick (in the best way). I love your outfit ideas and items posts and also your beauty/self care posts. Can’t wait for what’s to come! Happy New year!

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Haleigh! I am so appreciative of the support. My brothers live in SF too so we try to visit at least once a year. Think we’re planning a trip for Easter, I love it out there. Thanks for your feedback. Happy New Year xx

  24. Dawn

So many great suggestions, don’t feel I have much to add. I found you because of your fashion posts (you have the best style, and your photos/video are perfection), but I also love content on skincare/makeup, home reno/decor, and food and drink (I don’t love cooking, so simple is my fav – bought stuff to make ramen again tonight!). I really love the suggestion of how to wear something multiple ways, because I’d say my one drawback is I just could never keep up with all of your new purchases. I know this is your job, so it’s different for you, but maybe something on how to make the most of what you have sometimes? I’m in my mid 40s, so not your target, but I will say you’ve quickly become one of my favs. I love how down to earth and real you come off on your blog and IG – like I’m getting a peek into a real person’s life (though exceptionally fashionable). I love love love Nora and Fuji, but think Hunter needs more attention! And I hate the Patriots, but I still love you. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

    1. Jessica

Hahahaha, I appreciate you being able to overlook my love for the Pats. Definitely going to do more content that showcases how to wear things multiple ways since everyone is craving more of that. Thank you for all your thoughtful feedback Dawn, really appreciate it! xx

  25. Andrea

I’m happy to read that one of your strategies is to focus on Newport and New England. Living in the area it is great to have a lifestyle blog to go to on a daily basis for relevant content. Your blog has become such a resource for me on what to do and where to go in Newport, even though I’ve already been going to Newport my whole entire life!

I really enjoy your videos, especially the home reno and decor ones. I’d love to see a video on outdoor entertaining and possibly the different beaches you go to in Newport.

    1. Jessica

Love those ideas Andrea, adding them to my list. Thank you so much for your input. Really appreciate you taking the time to share. xx

  26. Briana

love your blog, cannot wait to hear your podcast!

    Briana

    1. Jessica

      Thank you Briana!

  27. Nancy

Love, love, love the wellness challenge! Will definitely be tuning in Jan. 1 to see that. Environmental particularly interests me, one of my own 2018 goals is to be environmentally conscious and kinder to the planet. Financial is also a great focus!
The New England trips are perfect! My girlfriends and I do a trip to NE every year for a long weekend, and we’re always looking for local spots to check out and places off the beaten path.
YouTube feedback: Don’t care about it at all, sorry Craig!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Nancy! Really appreciate your input. Excited to focus on the environment and finances in the wellness challenge. Appreciate your feedback. xx

  28. Kristin

Love your blog! Your direction sounds solid because it feels authentic to what you seem to be interested in. I hope you stay true to yourself in this process! Also love the quality of photos and range of products with New England vibe. I’ve got a question for you: if you could only spend $400 on clothes for the entire year, what would you buy? Another way to say this – I’d love to see more (or find an archive?) about your staples / must have / go tos for a classic yet stylish wardrobe built up over time. Thanks Jess and Craig! Keep up the great work!

    1. Jessica

Great idea I could definitely do a post about building a wardrobe and my core pieces. Thank you for your input Kristin! xx Jess

  29. Nicole

Hey Jess! Can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for your blog…I am such a huge fan and feel your genuine and relatable nature is rare in this space. Keep being you! With that being said, some of my favorite posts this year were on blogging, I thought they were so helpful and informative and as someone who has been toying with repackaging and relaunching my blog this year I would love to read any tips and advice you have, along with different tools or services you use for running your blog that are helpful.

    xoxo Nicole

    1. Jessica

Thank you Nicole. Definitely can do some more posts about blogging. I think inviting some fellow bloggers to share advice and experiences in my podcast could be helpful too. Really appreciate your input! xx

  30. Lynn

I love the blog and the beautiful home videos loving Nora and Fuji. I’ve gotten some great buys and outfit ideas that I have bought on sale and I try to wear them in my warmer climate. I’m a former New England home owner and so I love seeing the travel ideas in Newport and the charm of New England .
One thing I hardly ever see anywhere about new products are for super sensitive skin. I have Rosacea and it often presents with another drying condition like Sebborhea. I’ve been to the very best skin Drs , but sometimes some of us need to share suggestions for natural cleansers and creams that are gentle and don’t aggravate sensitive skin. Love everything so far and it’s near perfect for me to view!! Makes my days so enjoyable! Great job!

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much Lynn. I can definitely look into sharing more products for sensitive skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin myself and I am looking to use more clean beauty products which I think could be good for that. Really appreciate your feedback and input! xx

  31. Christina

I really, really love your vlogs on YouTube! I love following you on Instagram so much because your stories feel like mini vlogs and I always love seeing what you’re up to with the pups, etc. I’m sure it’s a ton of work, but I really love all of the video content you’ve posted.

I am a newer reader, but found myself going through your entire lifestyle archive as soon as I discovered your blog. I love that you focus on mental / spiritual health as well as physical, and I fully plan to join you on all of the wellness challenges. Part of the benefit of the internet is the community factor, and what better motivator is there than to have a bunch of buddies to be in something like that together? I tried to focus on health in 2017, which I was moderately successful with doing, but I found that without specific strategies and goals, that sort of just translated to getting to the gym more – still positive, but I’m interested in a deeper dive. I also do love the healthier recipes that you’ve shared! I might be in the minority on this one, but my primary interest in all blogs is really lifestyle – food, wellness, even some beauty, decor, etc – over fashion.

I love the idea of a product round up each month too. I am also really focused on skincare over beauty in general, and I love when you share your more natural products (I discovered Follain from your Instagram stories!). Again, I know I’m in the minority here for sure, but more often than not, I sort of scroll through outfit posts online and just check out the images. I find that when the actual copy is a story or something else (which I think you do a great job with), I’ll always stop to read.

Thank you so much for sharing so much in this space – can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store! xo

    1. Jessica

Thank you so much for your input and feedback Christina. Definitely going to do a round-up of beauty products I try/use (or the ones I love anyway) each month. I hope you’re joining in on the wellness challenge! xx Jess

  32. Ryan

I found your blog while searching Instagram before our trip to Malliouhana in Anguilla — AMAZING. On that note would love to see more travel/tips content. I’m also a big skincare fan and am always trying new products. I think the round up idea is good but would also like to see posts on staple products in your routine and things you would re-purchase. My struggle with beauty blogger/vlogger content is how honest is the rave review when they received for free and have only used for a short amount time.

    1. Jessica

Hi Rachel, so funny that trip feels like an ETERNITY ago. That place is amazing though. Totally agree on the beauty content. I’m really going to focus on stuff I try (for at least a month) and actually love. And happy to share some of my old faithfuls/staples too. Thanks for your input and feedback. xx

  33. Michelle Johnson

I’m definitely excited about your Newport posts! I’m most likely going there for my bachelorette party. It would be somewhere in between May and July. I would love to know where to stay, what to do, and where to eat!

    1. Jessica

Awesome! Working on the Newport Guide now, it’s a beast so will probably take at least a month but it’ll be ready for you to plan your bachelorette party. xx

  34. Margaret

As a part time Newporter and someone who happily discovered your blog this year I would recommend:

    Career
I always love career advice from female to female.

    Lifestyle (decor and wellness, recipes)
Yes to more decor, and personally I follow many others on recipes for food and beverages. I wouldn’t be saddened if you stopped posting recipes.

    Travel
LOVE the idea of a Newport and NE guide! I’m already looking forward to seeing what y’all create!

    Hair & Beauty
Yes to more hair and beauty! It nicely compliments all of your fashion content.

    Podcast
    Looking forward to this!

    Fashion
I love what you do! 🙂

Overall, I’m always so curious what other blogs and social media handles (Insta, Pinterest, etc) well known bloggers follow. I’d love to see a post about this!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Margaret. Really appreciate your input and feedback. And your last one is such a great idea. I’ve never done that, adding it to my list! xx

  35. Brianne Johanson

Sounds like you have a ton of awesome ideas in the works. Love the idea of a podcast and would love to see some episodes regarding the business of blogging. I’ve listened to a bunch of podcasts that have bloggers on as guests and the discussions and advice as always just too general. I think anyone starting out would really appreciate some serious tips that we haven’t all heard before relating to driving traffic to the blog (like what really works…is it Pinning each post? Is there a site you post your blog on?), mistakes to avoid, funny DM stories, how you organize your inbox/content/projects, why YOU think your IG follower #s grow as quickly as they do, how to set your price, etc. Thanks for reading!

Thank you Brianne. All really great questions and definitely great conversation starters for a podcast episode, or two! Happy to share some more blog content on the business of blogging as well. Really appreciate your input and feedback. xx

I really enjoy your wellness, exercise and diet blogs. I would like to see a day in your life, from what time you get up, exercise, etc. What is a typical day’s diet. Also, being in the coporate world, I am excited you will be blogging about that time in your life.

    1. Jessica

Thanks Kim. Once I actually get my life together and on a normal human schedule I am happy to share a “typical” day. Haha! Seriously though that’s a great idea. Maybe a good video for Youtube. xx

I LOVE the fact that you will cover more decor and New England stuff. As a New England transplant from LAS VEGAS. Style here is so different and I want to evolve.

Podcasts I love. Just got a job in Boston and will be needing commute material 🙂

Love the idea of posting inspirational stuff. We need more in the world and you’re so down to earth already- and not SUPER “zen is my world”- it’s a great, relatable mix.

As far as fashion- yea, whatevs, I’m broke and trying to style on a budget. But a lot of your stuff is pricey 🙁 if you had more posts on stuff under $100 (before sale) I think that would be splendiferous.

I, personally, don’t see the need for more career stuff on business. Maybe you have a lot of blogger followers. So if that’s the case- I’m all for it.

Love you and how real you are. Peace in 2018!

    1. Jessica

Thank you for all the feedback Kat! Really appreciate your input. Excited to launch the podcast in Q1! xx

TBH, I’m not a huge fan of the vlogs but I freaking LOVE your insta-stories. They’re probably not even in the same category in terms of feedback, but you just talking unedited is the best- hilarious, real, easy to follow. I love your lifestyle and wellness posts, about new products you’re using, new rituals you’re incorporating into your every day routine, or sweet little updates you’re making in your health-life. Alsoooo…. regarding the business side of things, I’d love to hear more about what failures have lead you to your successes and how you overcame them. Something that I love about you and that sets you aside from a lot of other bloggers is that you are real and aren’t afraid to point out your shortcomings to the insta-world. It’s refreshing and cracks me up and inspires me.

    1. Jessica

Thanks Hannah, really appreciate your input. Such a great idea to share some of the mistakes and lessons that have led to successes. I am adding that to my list. Thank you so much for the feedback. xx

You’re my fav blogger! You’re so real, stay true to who you are and are so grateful for everything but are honest about the tough stuff. Keep doing what you’re doing! And I love newport so you live in one of THE best places on earth! Happy New Year – my one ask is to not change a thing!

    1. Jessica

You’re so sweet. Thank you so much Kristen. Really appreciate the kind words and support. Happy New Year xx

I love this post! Here’s what I’d love to see more of in no particular order because I can’t remember the order above and I’m doing this on my phone lol here goes: decorating with a significant other/mixing tastes, love fashion hauls!, beauty roundups of your favorite/not so favorite new products you tried and loved, and some that didn’t live up to the hype, love the New England travel ideas and would love things to do that you can only do here in NE, so looking forward to the wellness tips, for wellness I love new products you tried (like the collagen and powder you got) and results you saw from them, packing tips!!!, photography tips, saving money/joint bank accounts with a significant other…I think that covers it haha hope I don’t overwhelm you! I love reading your blog and think you do an amazing job covering such an array of topics and look forward to what you do in 2018!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Adrianna. Love the idea about decorating with your significant other. Taking all of your suggestions into account and adding them to my list. Really appreciate the feedback. Happy New Year! xx

  42. Meg

Thank you for the in-depth roundup! I love that you share your process with your readers. You have wonderful content, and your photography is gorgeous, but your authenticity really sets your blog apart.

I’m super excited for the wellness challenge and will definitely be following along. It’ll be great motivation! I think this is a fantastic idea. I’d also love if you’d include wellness topics in the podcast when it starts up!

I’m also one of the rare few who LOVES the skincare posts. I’m down the road in Connecticut and still getting used to New England’s effect on my skin, so your suggestions are really useful! I bought both the FAB products (retinol and AHA serums) on your recommendation, and they’ve been great.

I also love the idea of more career content, blog- or non-blog-focused. 5 years in the corporate world isn’t a small amount (it’s about as long as I lasted), and I feel like both that and the blogging business advice are generalizable to a wide range of jobs/careers. I’m not looking to blog professionally myself, but find your advice useful even to my own work/life situation.

Thanks for the work you do!! Happy 2018!

    1. Jessica

Thank you Meg. 100% down to include wellness topics in the podcast. I can’t wait to get that started. Happy to share more career content as well. Thanks so much for your input and feedback. Really appreciate it! xx

  43. danie

Hi, I really like all the healthy recipes and wellness/lifestyle tips and tricks. Also, the fashion pieces on the basics of fashion!

    1. Jessica

      Awesome thanks Danie! xx

  44. Amanda

Excited to hear about the content you have planned for the new year. I am looking forward to the wellness content the most. I am trying to live a healthier life in the new year so weekly challenges will be perfect. I would really enjoy more of your décor posts (I am in love with your style there as well). You have had glimpses of your shoe/boot closet in your insta stories and a post on that would be awesome. Looking forward to the New England posts as well. 2018 is looking good!

    1. Jessica

So happy that you’re excited about the wellness content. It’s honestly what I am most excited about too. Thanks for all of your input and feedback. I really appreciate it. xx

    Hey Jess!
I just wanted to comment that I loveeee YouTube and really enjoy watching your videos there! I’m a huge fan of video content in general. Instagram stories are a great way of checking in with followers throughout the day/week, but I love that YouTube allows creators to go into greater detail-not just through daily vlogs, but also via tutorials/how-to, try ons, travel inspirations. I’m sure it’s super time consuming, but personally I prefer the visual/sonic aspects of video over a written blog post.

Silly it may seem, but one of my favorite chill-out activities is pulling up YouTube on my laptop (or phone) while I’m cooking/cleaning/getting ready/even on the stairmaster! Lol.

Also, I’m a fellow Newporter and your videos give me adventure time inspiration! I love seeing the city through other perspectives, and yours is so lovely!

Warm wishes in the new year!

    1. Jessica

Hi Courtney! Thank you SO much. My goal is to post a video a week, already failing, haha. But planning out my video content calendar this week so I can get on a routine. And I totally agree, I think tutorials and try ons in particular are so much better on Youtube. Really appreciate your feedback and input. xx
