It’s a cold and rainy morning here, better than cold and snowy I think (?), the forecast is showing up to 10 inches in Vermont. Spring is starting to show up here with little snippets of blooms. We took Marin to Blithewold this week to tour the grounds for their Daffodil Days. Taking some time off during the day to go do something like that got me thinking a lot. Covid (and motherhood) has changed my approach to work so much. I have always been so work focused. Everything revolves/revolved around work, productivity, “the hustle.” I find myself more and more asking “why?” So much of how I’ve measured my own self-worth and idea of success is tied to work, and I realize that’s an incredibly narrow point of view.

Probably a bit too much to unpack as I write this short intro to weekend reading, but something I’ve been pondering a lot. On that note, I am getting ready to do my weekly social media sign off for the weekend. Wishing all of you some restorative time off, whatever that looks like for you.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…
