I realized yesterday that this time last year I just found out I was pregnant and spent every single day puking from morning to night. I remember thinking I’d never feel good again. It was only a year ago but it feels like so long ago. This year we’re not going anywhere and don’t have any plans, but I couldn’t be happier to spend it at home with my little family, enjoying our backyard, eating whatever I want and smelling food cooking on the grill without puking, haha. Happy weekend friends.

I finally got the chance to test out Equilibria CBD (the brand everyone seems to be talking about) and I was REALLY impressed. I ended up ordering the extra strength capsules (FYI the capsules are not vegan) and the mint daily drops. Craig said it’s the best CBD he’s tried (and he’s tried SO MANY brands). They gave me a code: jessannkirby to share for 15% off for new customers which you can use on top of their 15% off sitewide discount right now (their sale ends tonight at midnight)! (J)

I’m interested in CBD but the lack of regulation and the preliminary nature of the research leaves me ambivalent. Of course a good sale could tip the scales and I might just try it anyway. 🙂

For anyone else on the fence, this article from the Mayo Clinic is helpful.

Check Table 3 for how to source “quality” CBD oils per to Mayo’s standards.

Also the reference list is a good launch pad to access other primary literature, assuming it isn’t behind a paywall. According to this article from JAMA https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/2661569 there is a high rate of labeling inaccuracies, though oil products tend to be more accurately labeled (~45% accurate, small sample size though)

Anyway, I started down a research hole and thought I’d share in case others are curious. Have a great weekend all.
